The magnet and counterpart are mounted on the end of the belt and the belt holder respectively. The magnet holds securely during normal operation and opens when the appropriate impulse is applied. We recommend the Anti Panic adapter in all cases for permanently installed barrier belts in front of exits, passageways or escape routes. When barrier posts with extendable belts are opened and closed frequently, users appreciate the magnetic Stopper Anti Panic adapter because it is intuitive to use and makes the barrier systems quicker and easier to operate.
