every single "genie” is made by the artist herbert
lampacher himself in a limited small edition of only 12 pieces. each made of
massive cast-bronze p12 and is caringly polished by hand.
thanks to the
exclusive handicraft every piece has an
individual touch and is a true striking head. the package is
made also by lampacher himself: he uses fragrant swiss stone
pine and brandmarks every case separately. even the inner lining with
fabric is done by the artist.
thus every piece is a true unique
masterpiece, made with passion and love for detail. every genie fits
different bottle necks, thanks to the conical stainless steel peg. every
artwork comes with a description and certificate. a real
original and fancy present for art lovers and wine connoisseurs as
well.
about the artist:
herbert lampacher was born 1969
in bludenz in austria, he spent then the childhood in south tyrol italy, close
to merano city and lives now in the venosta vally in south tyrol, italy.
plurality determines his artwork: sculptors in wood, stone, ceramic and bronze
in different sizes and dimensions as well as pictures with different paints and
materials as well as etching or woodcarving. his works normally develop without
any model or sketch. herbert lampacher develops them based on the used material
and on his gut feelings, always looking for whom and where it will be borne and
from what it comes. within the years different cycles occurred like
"tram-geschichten", "anderswelten", "lebensmasken" as well as "schaugintluft".
at the moment lampacher ”inebriates himself” - as he says - with a new art cycle
of 365 heads in 365 days.
